Dance, Dance Clay Revolution, June 23-27, 2008: Back by popular demand! In the mornings move and groove with five different professional dancers who will teach dances from a variety of cultures, including West African, Modern American Hip Hop, Spanish Flamenco, and Indonesian and Jazz dances. In the afternoons, let your hands do the groovin' as you learn to use wheel and handbuilding techniques to create various works of clay art. Young Audiences artists include: Melanie Verna and Sam Feipel of MDT & The Dance Institute, Kenna Sarge, Shari Jeziorski of Jawaahir Dance Company, Deborah Elias, and Tri Sutrisno.

Join us at Flint Hills Family Festival Weekend! Hosted by Ordway Center for Performing Arts, families can enjoy the ARTmoves Parade, free outdoor music and dance performances, and Art Making activities. Meet Young Audiences artists at our Art Activity Tent in Rice Park from 10:00-1:30 PM!
